1. Definitions

1.1. GreenCircle: Refers to GreenCircle.com.ng, its owners, affiliates, employees, and partners.
1.2. User/Customer: Any individual or entity accessing or using the GreenCircle platform for savings or other financial services.
1.3. Platform: The GreenCircle website and/or mobile application.
1.4. Savings Plan: A structured savings program where users deposit funds for a specific period (50 weeks).

2. Eligibility

2.1. To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid bank account in Nigeria.
• Provide accurate and verifiable personal information during registration.

2.2. GreenCircle reserves the right to refuse service or terminate accounts if eligibility criteria are not met.

3. Account Registration and Fees

3.1. Users must register on the platform by providing their full name, phone number, email address, and bank details.
3.2. A non-refundable registration fee of N3,500 applies for all users. This fee must be paid during account setup.
3.3. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
3.4. Any unauthorised use of your account must be reported to GreenCircle immediately.

4. Savings Plans

4.1. Users can select a savings plan with a duration of 50 weeks.
4.2. Users must make periodic deposits as specified in the chosen plan.
4.3. GreenCircle reserves the right to charge a penalty for late or missed contributions, which will be clearly communicated during plan setup.
4.4. Savings can only be withdrawn after the completion of the agreed plan duration, unless specified otherwise.

5. Withdrawals

5.1. Withdrawals are processed to the bank account provided during registration.
5.2. Withdrawals made before the plan’s maturity may incur charges or penalties, as outlined in the plan’s terms.
5.3. All withdrawals are subject to verification and may take up to 48 hours to process.

6. Security and Confidentiality

6.1. GreenCircle implements advanced security measures to protect user data and transactions.
6.2. Users are responsible for ensuring the security of their devices and accounts.
6.3. GreenCircle will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised account access due to user negligence.

7. Support and Communication

7.1. Users can request support through the following channels:

• Phone: Using the provided phone number(s) listed on the platform.
  7.2. Users are encouraged to primarily use email or WhatsApp chat for faster resolutions to inquiries or issues.

8. Fees and Charges

8.1. GreenCircle may charge service fees for specific transactions, such as early withdrawals or account management.
8.2. All applicable fees will be clearly displayed before transactions are completed.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1. GreenCircle is not a financial institution but a savings scheme platform. Funds are not insured by the NDIC or any other regulatory body.
9.2. GreenCircle will not be liable for losses resulting from:

• User errors in account details or contributions.
• Delays caused by third-party service providers (e.g., banks or payment gateways).
  9.3. GreenCircle reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in cases of fraud, misuse, or force majeure events.

10. Termination of Service

10.1. Users may terminate their accounts by providing written notice.
10.2. GreenCircle reserves the right to terminate accounts for violation of these terms or fraudulent activity.
10.3. Upon termination, funds in the user’s account will be refunded after deduction of applicable fees and penalties.

11. Amendments

11.1. GreenCircle reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
11.2. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in Nigerian courts.
